An afternoon with our friend Eduardo Cuenca of Arroces turned into a spirited collaboration at Frog Wine Bar, where food, wine, and good company came together in perfect rhythm. The menu celebrated the pleasures of surf and turf: from the sea, a rich lobster paella with truffle aioli; from the land, braised beef and mushroom empanadas alongside skewers of miso-garlic rib eye and confit mustard pork secreto. We ended on a sweet note with alfajores from 34 South Co. — a fitting finale to an evening of warmth, creativity, and shared flavor.
